Bare Roots was started in April of 2017.

I started off by growing flowers and veggies to sell at the Farmer's Market. I renovated a little garden shed and started to create and sell floral bouquets for birthdays, anniversaries, funerals and weddings.

Once the Wedding and Funeral work started to pick up, I quickly out grew my garden shed and had to "retire" from the Farmers Market.

( I still have a little veggie/ flower garden for myself and family)

In February of 2021 I moved to a Main Street location.

Here I design for Weddings, Funerals, Prom, Holidays, Special Events, and I am able to teach a few hands on classes as well.

I am excited to see were Bare Roots grows from here!

The meaning behind the name Bare Roots:

I wanted a creative name that not only tied into the industry but tied into my life and business journey.

Bare - this is where I started. I started with just an idea.

Roots - this came from where and how I grew up, but also where I've "planted" my own roots.

Bare Roots - together I get to watch/ see myself and my business grow.

What I Do:

I am a one woman show with the occasional help from family and friends.

I design and travel for Weddings and Special Events all over MN/Midwest Area. I find I design mostly with a soft, natural style but I am open to all ideas and styles!! My creative side is constantly running wild with ideas, I LOVE taking a vision and being able to bring it to life for your event.

I am the florist that is just as excited about your event as you are!!

I offer out everything from simple, minimalistic designs to large elevated designs.
